How long does ISO certification take for a factory in Johor?
For a manufacturing site of 50 to 200 people with no existing system, plan on six to nine months from gap analysis to certification audit. The rate-limiting factor is almost never us — it is how quickly your process owners can absorb the changes alongside production. Sites with a lapsed certificate usually move faster.
Does ProSafe issue the ISO certificate?
No. Certification is issued by an independent accredited certification body following a two-stage audit. We prepare your system and support you through the audit, but we have no role in the certification decision. That separation is required — a body cannot both consult on and certify the same system.
Which certification body should we use?
SIRIM QAS International is the most widely recognised in Malaysia, and several international bodies operate here as well. The right choice usually depends on which body your customer recognises, and on scheme accreditation for your sector. We are independent of all of them and will tell you what we know about each, but the appointment is yours to make.
Do you provide ISO training courses?
We do not deliver training directly. Where you need formal awareness or internal auditor courses, we refer you to established training providers and coordinate the scheduling around your implementation timeline. The consultancy work — gap analysis, documentation, system design, internal audit and audit support — we do ourselves.
Can we implement ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 together?
Yes, and for most factories it is the sensible route. All three share the same high-level structure, so context, leadership, planning, support, performance evaluation and improvement can be documented once rather than three times. The standard-specific clauses sit underneath. One integrated system is materially cheaper to maintain and audits more cleanly.
What happens after we get certified?
Certification is maintained through annual surveillance audits and recertification every three years. ProSafe offers ongoing support — internal audits, management review facilitation and system updates — so staying certified never becomes a scramble.
